| Bio: | This journal is friends-only except for fan-related things (fanfic, fanart etc). I am a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the series, Firefly and I also dabble in Harry Potter, Scrubs, Doctor Who, Torchwood, House, LotR, PotC, and a few others. My fanfic will be posted here as it'll be where I store it (my comms aren't always fast enough with the memories for someone as impatient as me) so if I store it here I can sort out the mems my ownself. So, yeah, feel free to comment on fanfic here, as I will still happily read and reply, but don't be surprised if you find it duplicated in my comms. SQUICKS (things I will NOT write or read under any circumstances) - The obvious, like bestiality and minors, also: Incest (No, I do not see the hidden dynamics between Buffy and Dawn or the sparkage with Simon and River and I don't want to!) Scat/Water-play. Not gonna happen! M!Preg. PAIRINGS THAT SQUICK ME: Buffy/Dawn, Riley/anyone, Dawn underage, Cordy/Connor (SO wrong! And by the Gods of Hell it was Canon too... why does Joss hate me?), Dawn/Connor, Harry/Snape (yes, it happens), Voldemort/anyone, Illyria tentacle sex. WHERE DO YOU GET THE TENTACLES FROM??? *ahem* Simon/River, Cox/Kelso (scarred for life!). PAIRINGS I WRITE (I read a much wider range and am willing to write most pairings): Buffy the Vampire Slayer Spangel (OTP), Spangelus, Spander (a favourite), Spuffy (a favourite). Lesser pairings - Xander/Anya, Giles/Spike, Giles/Wesley. Angel the series As above, plus Wes/Fred (a favourite), Angel/Lindsey, Angel/Wesley, Spike/Wesley, Angel/Cordy. Firefly/Serenity Mal/Inara (a favourite), Simon/Kaylee, Zoe/Wash (does that even need pointing out?), Mal/Simon. Harry Potter Lupin/Sirius Scrubs Dr. Cox/JD Doctor Who Ten/Jack Ianto/Jack (I like Jack submissive or unsure in relationships... don't really have an OTP here yet.) WHAT I'M WRITING Earthbound Still won't be posted up for a while but is coming on nicely now. I also have a great beta *hugs her* so it's all good. Totally AU. About beings called Crysons, my own invention, who are a human-sized mix between fairies and angels with lacewing-type wings. Main characters - Spike, Xander, Angelus/Angel, Willow, Giles. Secondary - Fred, Buffy, Dawn, Tara, Wesley, Oz. Pairings - Primarily Spander. Willow and Tara are together. Fred and Wes may flirt but I'm not sure how much is in that yet. Warnings - First few chapters v dark. Also some other dark content. Riley-bashing. Mention of non-con. LOTS of angst (wouldn't be me without it, eh?). Character death. Untitled - Ats Story set in season 5. Connor was rescued before anything Quartoth-related and now lives in Wolfram & Hart with Angel. Spike is there, and acts as an uncle to Connor. Wesley was pushed out of the group when he tried to take Connor. Spike has heard about Wes' betrayal. He cares a lot for Connor so when he meets Wes one night in L.A. he decides to mess with him. 'Cause it's fun :-) Not even sure if this is going anywhere, to be honest. I'm just messing around with the idea. Untitled - Firefly X-Over Canon to just after Objects in Space, then add Spike :-) Still in v early stages but much fun. My first Serenifly writing. Spike is on a quest, and hops a ride on Serenity. Untitled - Post Apocalypse Ats Fred never went to Pylea, and ended up working for the L.A. branch of the Initiative, where Spike finds himself after the Not Fade Away. It has begun as a Fred/Lindsey but I really don't think that'll last. It's a very experimental style, so we'll see how it goes. See Tori Amos live. 4. Change someone's life, for the better! 5. Get something published. 6. See a novel written by me on the shelves of Waterstones. 7. Eat a just-laid egg. When I was about 19. Philippa gave me one from her chickens. 8. Eat just-caught fish. When I was around 13-14, in Lanzerote. At El Golfo, I think it was. That awesome fish restaurant. 9. I touched the massive meteorite they have there. It was fantastic. 21. Own a very rare crystal (I do have a few not-common crystals, but I'm not counting those). 22. Visit another country. When I was 16, the B&B my Dad and I stayed in when we went to the Lakes had a log fire. My Dad also has one now. 38. Have my own log fire. 39. Go to a convention. Went to the SFX convention when I was about 16, and to the Halloween convention JM and DB arranged in October 2005. 40. Go to Comicon. 41. Read all the books on the BBC Big Read list. 42. Do something that requires wearing a suit (eg. my job, or an important meeting). 52. Do something on stage (not counting school plays). 53. Try venison (I have had venison sausages, which were gorgeous, but I'm not counting them). 54. Have an unusual pet. When I was 16 I had Finn, and currently I have Burkle. Both Giant African Land Snails. The kind that don't cause meningitis! I don't know if rats would count but I used to breed those. 55. Come face-to-face with a black panther. 56. Meet a big cat other than a black panther. I've seen lion twice, and met a tiger. 57. Touch a big cat. 58. Help an animal I'm counting Holly in here, because she really was neglected as Hell at her old house. I also moved a hedgehog out of the road one bonfire night with my friend. Oh, I did rescue a baby bird from my cat once, but it died that night, so maybe that doesn't count. I did it again recently, that one died too. It's like a curse! 59. Swim in a private pool. 60. See the Amazon. 61. Meet a Native American. 62. See remains from the Cave People. 63. See Pompei. 64. Go on a cruise. 65. Make a curry (without using anything ready-made). 66. Make a BtVS spoof. 67.
